Point of information:
Cookies are not what you need to turn off. Change the e-mail address field in
your browser, and up grade to the latest version (ok, IE 3.x not 4.x, and Netscape
3.x). Both Netscape and IE used to send e-mail address as part of the "HTTP
environment data", but due to some rather obvious problems, neither do that now.
Most sites have given up trying to harvest it that way.
Anybody that really wants to know, send me e-mail and I will give you more than
you want to know about what a site can and can not find out with you knowing about
it.
