[Epic] Epic 40k, New Army?

I'm new to this list so please excuse my lack of knowledge.

I'm going to start collecting Epic for the first time with the new
release and I am not sure which army to get. I have already got a 5000pt
Eldar army for 40k so this seems the natural choice. My brother is going
to get Tyranids and I play against him most often so I need a suitable
force.
