More than that, I think. The new Spaceship Battles game previewed in the last WD
has a very Epic feel (and was based on it according to Andy C) and it is therefore
likely that that game also will link with Epic when released.

Seems to me there might be a good future ahead with linked systems to play stellar
warfare off-planet, which effect composition of on-planet Epic campaigns, with
WH40K skirmishes when one wants to play a particular assault phase as a WH40K game
rather than just rolling the Epic dice.

BTW, has anyone done that yet. Used an particular Epic battle to link together a
series of WH40K games the format and composition of which is the same as the
particular close combat phase and the results of which are translated into Epic
results.
