Actually, they were making plans to surrender! Can never be too careful.

No, I'm just kidding. Actually, I have to repect the French for not being bullied.
They recognized it was mostly a testing ground for our new weapons and a mess of
our own design. They had nothing to gain by letting us Overfly during the Libyan
Raids, or the recent tensions with Iraq. They never feared scud attacks, since the
scuds would crash soon after getting to the Mediterranean.

At least our president has stuck by his first wife. All of the Republican
leadership are on their second or third, and many of them have had affairs. Newt
served his wife divorce papers to his first wife when she was in the hospital
recovering from cancer surgery, and has been known to recieve blow-jobs from
non-spousal sources, using the very similar excuse that oral sex is not cheating.
That's why he doesn't have much to say, for a change.

This is a witch hunt; they tried to nail him on 5 or 6 different "scandals" and
none of them stuck.It's a great distraction from the fact that zero has been done
for the past 2 years by the congress, letting problems like our lack of federal
judges, absurdly complicated tax code and ownership of congressmen by big business
fall by the wayside. I have to hear this crap constantly on the rest of the media;
please keep it off of this list.
