    Commander Kilger turned away from the holo. it was a classic defensive
position, and the Ultramarines had exploited it to the full. There was no
possible approach to the complex without going through half a dozen points
of concentrated fire, and no way to attack the defenders piecemeal. Half his
Marines would be wiped out in a frontal assault.

    Kiger paced silently for a moment, and then abruptly pulled his Imperial
Tarot from his equipment pouch.

    "I wonder...." He pressed the shuffle icon. Horus, guide your
servant..." Three images appeared on the screen: THE PALACE;THE MISSILE;THE
NOVA

    "As I thought" Klinger snapped the comlink open. "This is Kilger.
Request supporting fire." He punched in the co-ordinates. "Second company.
Prepare to advance after the Barrage. Give them no chance to regroup.

    That,he thought, should open a crack in their perfect defence.
