You might want to look at my troop quality rules for E41K at
http://www.spellbooksoftware.com/e41K/Rules/troop-quality.htm
Using them an "elite" detachment could, under the best of all conditions
remove 3d6+4 BM per rally phase.
Side Note: The "Extra Cost Leader" type for 'Nids would be Hive
Tyrants, not Warriors.
