I also am not convinced of a "Eldar are more expensive 'cos they're Eldar"
argument which I also thought of first. There are few Eldar things exactly
comparable with other people but take a look at the Predator and the Falcon,
more or less the same and yet the Eldar tank is only 2 points more yet it gets
the skimmer skill in addition!!
Anyway, I am now more interested in what the Firepower rules mean. The
Imperial Support Weapon clearly rises from 13 to 15 because it is an AT. The
Eldar Support Platform Battery is not mentioned (though they "thought Eldar"
because they raised the Wraithguard and the Fire Prism) so does it remain now
at 15 points!! Suddenly the Eldar are cheaper because they're Eldar rather
than more expensive!!!
Justify *that* on the "Eldar are special" argument.
