The point the guy was making was that Engines of Vaul are skimmers, and thus
make pop up attacks - and as deathstrikes lack the artillery ability, they
are never going to be able to fire at them - only other war engines can (see
Jervis's answers).

Also, vortex missiles only seem to be of any use against super heavy tanks
and unshielded titans. They are wasted on infantry, and unless you take a lot
wont be able to kill an imp titan straight out.
 Its very easy to overestimate their abilities...
