What abt the proposal put up by some of the listmembers recently ? Esp, the
one similar to the Chaos upgrades (Emperor's children, Worldeaters etc).
And one more thing, 40K HtH with vehicle rules are not exactly the most
realistic or even the most logical one. Of course, if a tank is standing
still (like what the 40k rule propose), even a lumbering hulk (termie) will
be able to take them out easy with their powerfist.
While I do like termies very much (Lightning Claws and Thunderhammer, yeah
!), I seriously doubt the survivability of even a squad termies against
three tanks. At least the jump-packed equipped assault marines can use their
jump-packs to position/dodge/jumped into the rear, vulnerable position of
the tanks. No way a termie can do that.
But I do agree that sometimes the Primarchs seemed rather flippant in their
reply.
