Pretty cool isn't it (Sanguinius vs Blood Thirster) ? And of the selective
memory of those Traitor Marines !_at_#! About SM being giants, I think you hit
it right on the head. Previously they were like 10 000, 20 000 strong. They
led the retaking of Human worlds and "not hoomies world" during the Great
Crusade and are answerable to their Primarchs and Emperor only. Compared
that to the sorry state of affairs today. 1000 warriors, defending old
territories as opposed to expanding, restrained by the Lords of Terra, blah,
blah, blah.

I think the most commonly accepted version now is both primarchs went with
the Emperor.
