I, like so many others, am doing the end-of-semester thing and haven't had
much time lately for E40k. As such I've only gotten a littel playtesing
in on the Knights rules that were posted a few weeks ago.
Well this weekend I've got time and I'm going to go through one last
battery of tests before sending them off to Jervis. So it would be a big
help if you'd try these rules out too and let me know what you think.
>From my playtest two weeks I found that even though the Mega-Cannon on the
Heavy Knights was very powerful, but since they were support you had to
purchase other Knights for the same detachment. This menat that you'd
have to choose to keep the det. back and fire with the Heavys or charge
forward and have the Heavys be less effective. Also you had to worry
about the det. spreading out too much due to the Heavy's slow speed.
Anyway here's a repost of the Knights IV:
Thanks to all who contributed, especially Mark Shieh, Elias Tiliakos, and
Stephen Sheldon.
