I remember reading a note in the new WHFB (I dont own it, honest!) that
said about the scales in WH (and I paraphrase here):"If the ranges of
weapons and troop movement were in proportion to the miniature size, then
you'd need to play in a (shopping centre?) carpark!"
Unfortunately, when it comes to epic, they took the more reasonable 2nd ed
stats and converted them to equal the absolutely shite stats of WH40k 8(
Thats my only real gripe with the new system. Since everyones affected
equally, it's not a huge issue, but damnit, I like realism as much as the
next guy!
