I like it, but I also tend to agree more with giving them a separate
line and 2 FP. After all, the guardians have it, right?

IMHO a good choice.

This would give them AF 6 which is fine as long as they pay for it.

Seems fine, considering what the fire lances are supposed to do.

I think disrupt is a good choice, keep in mind the nightspinners do
this too. If you pile on enough BMs with these guys the enemy will
eventually stop firing and retreat anyway.

This is what I think they should be.

The costs seem fine - I'm curious to know more about the Shining
Spears...
