[Epic] Can you save flak for later?

Hello Maillist.

Rulebook P. 48:
"Roll 1D6 per point of Firepower the Flak unit has." (...) "A flak unit can
split its firepower amongst several flyers if you wish".

If I have a large battery of flak units, such as hydras, with serveral
points of firepower, can I then elect only to fire a handfull of firepower,
and save the rest in case my opponent launch another attack in that area?
