[Epic] Blast markers and shooting

Okay, here is another question, this one a friend put to me.

If you have blast markers on your detachment and you fire at two different
detachment targets, do you have to deduct the blast markers from your
firepower when you fire at each detachment, OR can you say soak up all the
blast markers firing at one of the detachments (providing you have
sufficient firepower) and then fire unhindered at the other detachment.
