I've often been tempted to play on a surface that large, I could easily use
my family room floor - it would make that size and more. However the main
problem would be the potential mortality rate of the infantry and
remembering where is everything. I have had more than just a few marines
drop to the floor and be stomped on by something much larger than an Imperator.

Having that size on a table would cause great problems moving things around.
