Last Saturday I played a battle against a friend to show him the
basic ru=
les of Epic 40k, he had a very good question :
Hypothesis : detachment A=
: 2 Devastator Squads
detachment B : 2 Rhinos
Question : Can the rhin=
os of B transport the Devastators
of A?
I would not like a positive an=
swer because it would be easy to say
that B is in March and to transport A =
with a tripled mvt. Not very
reallistic, no? What do you think about this?
=
As far as I know this is legal. I don't think there is a rule that transp=
orts cannot transport units from another detachment. Yes, this can give you=
some obcene movement rates. I intend to use this the next time I meet one =
of them annoying artillary detachments. My aspects will go 155 cm!! (85+25+=
45).
It's a little weird, but E40K has a lot of little weird things, like =
FF/ CC and marines who are armoured like tanks. Besides, we are talking rea=
lism in a game with things like skimmers, teleporters and aliens who speak =
with a brooklyn accent.
