I thought the Avatar did not get a save in close combat. He got a save from
weapons that was a fixed 2+ and was removed when he lost close combat. If he
gets a save in close combat then he is worth more than the 2 VPS. He also
has a high CAF and opponents must make a fear or morale check against him,
and units targeting the Avatar are at -1 to hit. So what Iam asking is does
the avatar get a save from lost Close combat? If so, why? Thanks.
