I'm not sure, it may have been mentioned, but I have no file on my archive, at least recently. Now I don't remember rules for them in WD, it may have been CJ. I don't have any CJ articles, does anyone have the CJ article.

In any event if you want to make up a list go ahead, its your chance to make the list to your tastes and post it on the list.

Well, at least your "touching" it again, thats the best compliment the list can get its getting people to play again.

Yes, that has promise.

Its been tried a lot before (especially by me) and its someone diffciult to fit a good mechanic in this regard to the rules as they stand without it being too complex or fiddly. You suggestion did give me an idea though that may be easily implementable.

How about a modified "heresy" suppression rule? In Heresy suppression is caused when the amount of fire power (dice) shot at a group is equal to or exceed the number of models in a unit. This could work in epic the same way. For example:

A platoon of 10 IG stands shoots at 6 orks stands. The Orks would be suppressed since the amount of dice shot at them exceeds the amount of models in the unit. One could also increase the "suppression" penalty for excess "dice" beyond the minimum to suppress. In this example there's 4 extra dice (beyond the 6 needed to suppress) and for every two dice an extra penalty (a -1 or something) would acrue.

Hmmm.. I feel a rules inspiration coming on...see the next post on suppression for a full system.
