Hi!

As always Josh, it's pretty hard to argue with your logic. One of the reasons met it doesn't have suppression rules, as you mentioned, is because it's been abstracted in the current rules. The other reason is, as the discussion is already pointing out, a system that is workable and realistic is very hard to add to the core epic mechanic.

We've known a lot of optional rules out there. Some get used, and others are never heard from again. To be honest, I've given up on adding suppression rules to met at the for that reason. That's why the heresy rules were made, some real-life concepts like suppression can only be made to fit within the game mechanic if that game mechanic was built from the ground up to accept it. Net epic as it stands just cannot support such a mechanic without cumbersome overly detailed rules.

Sure will try to hammer out some, but honestly how many people you think would use it? Look at me, I make rules all the time, yet rarely use them in actual game.

Again, as I said before, it's optional and likely to stay optional.
