I always imagined that they started as Gretchin or Squigs and mutated into Orks as some kind of weird life cycle.

Sam,

I only play 6mm Epic and not 25mm 40k so I don't know much of the
inofrmation that appears in the 25mm 40k books.

Do Orks have genders?
I've only ever seen what I assumed were male Orks. Do females exist? Other
genders?

What's the relationship between Orks, Gretchin, and Squigs?
They're all part of Orkdom, right? Are they all part of the same species?

How do Orks reproduce?
Your post below seems to indicate that they grow up from spores.

I always imagined that they started as Gretchin or Squigs and mutated into
Orks as some kind of weird life cycle.

I know I've asked a few very odd questions so forgive me.

Best regards to all,
Maksim-Smelchak.

The original Ork hybrids were supposed to be stuffed because the Orks took
so
long to reproduce that the cult couldn't grow to the point of causing
anyone
any major hassle. But, the current race of Orks are particularly pissed
off
mushrooms, and grow through dropping spores. So what sort of
unpleasantness
does that lead to when an infected Ork spreads spores... Even harder to
stop
  than the usual bugs...
