But with a ship being permenantly designated as a "planet killer" it would
suffer in normal games of Gothic. Particularly if it was an Imperial ship.
Almost all of the Imperial weapons are on the ships prow which has been
removed to provide the exterminatus. Where as with chaos the reliance is on
the massed broadsides.
Though I agree that it should be made a unattractive as possible but still
"fair" to both sides. With the BFG scenario you can have 1 exterminatus per
1K of fleet in the game.
Also most of the exterminatus weapons are variant ammunition types, like the
space marines cyclonic torpedoes, that can be held in certain strategic
locations and then issued as normal.
Might it not be an idea to have each ship with its normal weaponry but pay
to upgrade a single ship per fleet to be equipped with the specialised
weaponry as needed but make the Ammunition very expensive and only last a
single engagement. With the fleet having to stop off at a starbase to refit
the vessel.

Hi!
I think it should be made as unavailable as possible so fit them in the
Economic phase. I hope this thing is expensive otherwise it gets to easy to
just nuke everything.
I'd recommend everyone to give these rules a try and comment on them, since
the only thing Net Epic lacks is a set of campaign rules. If people like
these we could make them "core" in the long run.
