Hi!

Problem is that the epic units and the way they fire is made to engage
multiple targets. For example a unit of thunderers has 15 attack dice.
To limit them to one or two detachment reduces their worth since with so
many dice they should be able to engage multiple targets.

Now one point you could pursue is to require that targets be within "x"
cm of the first target. This make a lot of sense since target
acquisition is harder beyond the first target.

How about this?

Any unit (I mean 'stand' here, or a single vehicle) classed as
Infantry, Walker, Cavalry or Vehicle cannot split his fire between
two or more enemy detachments.

Basically, any of the above units can fire only at one detachment per
turn... only Super-Heavies and above (Knights, Prętorians and Titans)
can split their fire. This also does not impede splitting the fire of
a single detachment...
