Skip the first roll of 6 to target the HQ. You shoot
normally, and if you hit the HQ then there is a 5/6
chance that an adjoining unit takes that hit instead.
Whoever ends up taking the hit then makes a saving
throw. Simple as that.
If you let adjacent units automatically take the hit,
then the HQ becomes invincible. An Ork mob can be
very big - 15 stands, plus 5 more stands for each
support card, with the only limit being the number of
cards at your disposal. A mob of 30 stands is not
impractical, so you would have to kill the other 29
stands before you are allowed to take your first shot
at the HQ. Okay, they would reach their break point
before then, but the game would be half over by that
time.
