The mention of the 'same weapon same stats' rule has reminded me of
something. While going through the Imperial, Eldar & Ork units I've
identified 96 types of weapons - these all have unique stats.
Unfortunately
for the above rule, there are the following duplicate names:

9 "Autocannon"

I think it was suggested that this have a 0 save modifer, 2 attack dice,
range of 75cm, hits on a 5+

7 "Battlecannon"

These should all be 75cm, 1 attack dice, 4+ to hit, -2 save modifer.

3 "Bolter"

Vehicle mounted, 15cm range, 6+ to hit, 0 modifier, 1 attack dice
Infantry weapon, 50cm range, 5+ to hit, 0 modifier, 1 attack dice

2 "Earthshaker Cannon"

Which units have this?

3 "Flamer"

Depends if its infantry or vehicle based to decide.

2 "Heavy Bolter"

These should be, 25cm range, 5+ to hit, 0 modifier, 1 attack dice

2 "Heavy Weapons"

These should be, 75cm range, 5+ to hit, -1 modifier, 2 attack dice

7 "Lascannon"

These should be 75cm range, 5+ to hit, -1 modifier, 1 attack dice

3 "Missiles"
4 "Rockets"

These two categories sound pretty much the same; if different stats are
required a re-name is probably better.

2 "Scorcher"

They should all be 25cm range, 4+ to hit, 0 modifier, 1 attack dice,
ignores cover.

3 "Shuriken"

Same as bolters.

2 "Shuriken Cannon"

Same as autocannon.
