    hello,
    marines versus ork super heavies,
  i understand your problems, giblet grinders and stompas are bad news to
the marine players,but here are some suggested forces for marines,
            land raiders, they are lean and mean
            knights, used in dets they are tough and can dish it out
            bikes in quantity, you take some loses, but pt for pt a good
tactic
            warhounds, cheap and fast(blast guns/megabolters/cc weapons)
      when playing against orks use as many dice as possible and beware of
independent formations. boys are good infantry but with the ork command
rule they have a tendency to be slow. also be sure to take out the battle
wagons as soon as possible to slow them further or take them out before they
can unload.
    your second concern should be nobs, these boys are tough and can hurt
your titans and super heavies as well.
            i also do not necessarilly believe that concentrated fire is a
good idea,
"i'll take dumb luck over skill any day", do what might be considered a
stupid thing every once in a while just to mess with your opponent.
