First, the Chaos revision isn't done by any stretch of the imagination. The 5.X file that I've posted introduces a dozen new units, half a dozen new Chaos Rewards (including one for the Black Legion), and outlines a new Standard / Codex army system. No one's commented on any of it and if there are no objections I'll put it all in as optional rules / units. The animosity rules, however, will be changed to fall in line with the poll results.

Second, the files listed 5.1 are a personal version - they're house rules and shouldn't really be in the Net Epic numbering system. AntiChrist took my early rough drafts, changed some of the rules and added loads of his own material. They're a good place to go for fluff and AC's got some good ideas, but they should not be consitered official.

Third, the CSM / Daemon army proposal - I'm against it. The origional rules, fluff and (from what I can tell without being a player) the current Chaos WH40k rules indicate that there is no such definitive split in chaos forces. There are marines and daemons mixed in with most of the armies I've seen / read about. This seems to be one of the major sticking points with Chaos - they're so damn inhomogeneous that you can't makes rules that cover all the contingencies. I have a feeling that we'll settle for some "here are some ideas on how to form a Chaos army - pick one" compromise.
