Just a question about forward observers.

How far can they spot?

How many detachments can they spot for?

How about a non-forward observer who is calling in strikes?
How far can they spot?

Just wanted to know because I got rained on last weekend by an Imperial Guard army that included 2 artillery companies and a rocket company and everything was indirect but that 1 forward observer was working over-time.
