I wouldnt have a problem paying for the book at all. It would be worth it.
What I would suggest is that we find out once its finished how much a unit would cost in the first place. That way you can ask the same question again.

Hi

I have a couple of "poll" type questions and need the groups input.

As I have mentioned before at some point after 5.0 PDF release we will
make available an actual full color rulebook. I have been entertaining
the thought to actually run a limited printing run for net epic members
only.

Before I continue a few disclaimers:

1. Its NON PROFIT. In fact, anyone who decides to get a printed copy
will recieve a copy of the printer invoice where the cost per unit will
be clearly stated. In other words you pay for what it costs to make it
and it getting shipped to you. All art, diagrams, etc are orignally made
by volunteers to avoid GW IP issues. I will not entertain and "dealer"
offers. It's not for business purposes or profit. Its just a tangible
aid for net epic fans. The only reason price is an issue is because the
printer doesn't do it for free. Of course the nifty PDF's will be
available for free online.

2. Net epic members only. I have already "locked" in the member e-mails
as of this moment to avoid people just suscribing to get the book than
abandoning the group. The book is a treat for REAL members. It doesn't
mean you have a mountain of posts to your name, you may have never post
before, but at least you have been around more than the day I announce
the book available (as moderator I can see the date you joined).

3. Its a one time thing, IF it gets done.

Now to the real questions:

How much would you be willing to pay for a full color 200-300 page rulebook?

What king of binding it should have? Spiral? regular "perfect bound"?

Any other preference regarding the book?

I realize that book cost will depend on quantity comissioned, but if I
know what people think its worth then its easier to determine how many
units need be ordered to get that particular price.

Any opinions welcome.

Peter
