Hi!

I think that dummy card number will be adjusted in playtest. Note that an IG company is *usually* composed of 3+1 units plus 1 special and let's say 1.5 average support cards (not counting comissars) thus, you'll get a dummy card for each 19.5 "normal" cards (around 5%, a bit ridiculous?).

Maybe it will be easier to just add a % of dummy cards. Before deploying, count the number of separate units to deploy (that is, number of order counters needed plus command units) and then add that % of dummy cards.

e.g. A SM force composed of 27 units with a dummy factor (sounds nice) of 25% gets 6.75 cards, so, 7 dummy cards. Not bad.

Thats a good idea. For example in Ork, support that grants mekboy cards also grant one "dummy" card.

Eldar would get one dummy card per company card present.

IG would get one dummy card per three company cards present and SM one per 2 cards.

Chaos and Squats would be as per SM

Slann would be as per eldar rules

Tyranids would be depending on synapse creatures

  Dominatrix - 3 dummy cards
  Hive tyrant - 2 cards
  Tyranid warriors one cards.

  What you think of this?

-->Looks good Peter. Could also have additional blanks for specific units/detachments. Certain SM chapters and harlequins come to mind.
