Re: [NetEpic ML] Squats (a few notes on hellworm)

Hi,

For the small part I read while I downloaded the rest of books, I'm strongly
against mixing Hellworm with Land Train. They are two different units and
should have two different entries. I have to note also that rules on
open/close hellworm battlecars have been lost and remixed somewhere in the
vortex and induce a bit of confusion IMHO.

I have also to discorauge this practice of joining units to save paper.
First of all, because of clarity, second to avoid confusion and third to not
repeat what happened with exarchs. Have you noticed that nowhere says which
battlecars belong to which unit? If you buy a secialist battlecar for a hell
worm you can get a skyhammer? it is not te role of a hellworm to act as AA
platform. And viceversa, land train with buoy? any use in battle?

If you think it would be a better idea to classify them together, I would
recomend adding an entry stating common rules to 'convoy' units and then
place both entries with their battlecars separated. Or we can leave 'convoy'
rules for v6 core rules and let IG/TG have also trains if someone has the
will to design them or run a scenario with some railroads...

Albert
