Hi,
I made my squat vehicles out of plastic rhinos. I took
the turret from the old plastic battle wagon and
shaved off the top hatches of the rhino and glued it
in the top front center (Ironshield). For the
Vindicator type squat vehicle, again a rhino chassis
which I shaved off the hatches on the top. This time
on the front center I drilled a hole through the model
wide enough to accept a piece of plastic modelling
tube (1/8 -3//16 in dia). Glue it in place. Let me
know if you want to see some pics. My camera is
ancient (7+ years old) so it won't give you a great
picture but a good idea of how these simple
modifications look.
