Slann proxies and modifying the army lists

Hi!

As the book leaders progress towards making netepic gold a reality,
several questions have arised regarding what minis to use for them.

For those who have been with us for some time, they will remember that
the slann units and indeed the creation of certain units were pretty
much made to fit existing proxy choices.

The reality is however that those proxy choices and their availability
have either hard to get or non-existent.

Fortunately recent events have given us whole new lines to choose from.
Not only are they available but expanding.

So the question is, should the lists be modified to accommodate the more
accessible proxies?

Note this doesn't mean reinventing the list, just adjusting stats to
their newer proxy choice.

For example the slann/necrons should be an advanced force, yet they have
tracked vehicles. Now more suitable skimmers have appeared that make
thde army look more unique and characteristic.

Opinions please.
