Hi Warmaster,
I agree with you, completely! There are only 18 stands of Veterans +
the Command Veteran stand. The Veterans suit up, in the Terminator
suits, should the threat be grave enough. Unfortunately, there's only
so many of these rare suits available. So, you can only have 12 stands
of Terminators + 1 stand of Command Terminator, in a Terminator Co. The
extra Veterans, not in Terminator Suits, can be taken as a seperate
Veteran Detachment. That's all, most Chapters, can field.
Space Wolves do not have this limitation. The Space Wolf Chapter, is
limited to 12 Great Companies. But, each company, can include 4
Terminators. That's 48 possible Terminator stands, for the Space Wolf
Chapter. All other Chapters, are limited to 19 Terminator stands.
So, my gaming group put a limit on the number of Space Wolf Terminator
Great Companies, that can be taken in any battle. We thought 4 should
be the limit. Extra Terminator detachments, could be used, with a
Special Card, as per normal NetEpic Rules.
I will say again, just to be annoying, that Space Wolf Terminator Great
Companies, should cost 50pts more. But NOT the Space Wolf Terminator
Detachment, these MUST be purchased as Special Cards, so the cost should
not increase.
Long Fangs are too expensive, they almost NEVER show up on the
battlefield. Instead, they spend thier days in the Retirement Home, and
dream of former battles. The cost for these units, should be lowered
25pts.
What does everyone else think?
