In Epic, a 6+ modifiable save isn't protection. It's spice. It's
one stand occaisionally surviving, assuming it's being shot w/zero
mod weapons. Avg SM detach of 6 stands facing horde of badguys each
take a hit, maybe one stand survives. And sometimes they'll take
more than one hit each, which makes it even less likely. And if
they're being shot up by Goffs, BadMoons, Nobz, Chaos SM's, Devs, IG
heavies, etc etc etc they don't even get that slim hope. A 6+ save
makes the game a LITTLE less predictable, which to me, makes it
somewhat more entertaining (if know exactly what will happen, why
play?) without being a really significant change.
