Hi Kelvin and Everyone!
Well, my Chaos Special Card List seems to have created some comments.
Good, it's through discussion, and hashing things about, that we learn.
I think that the unique flavor of Chaos, is being able, in essence, to
create your own companies. As well as a peponderance of high CAF units.
The Chaos weakness, is that they are mostly slow, and lack good
artillery. Greater Deamons, are both a strenght, and a little bit of a
curse.
If you look at the other lists, here are the totals, for Special Cards:
(With the addition of Warp/Vortex missiles.
Space Marines 17
Imperial Guard 18
Tech Guard 9
Squats 9
Eldar 9
Chaos 4? Chaos Magus, Forward Observer, Warp/Vortex Missile
Orks 12
Tyranids N/A
Now, I like Chaos, I really do. But I think we need to make a choice.
Use Special Cards, and get the goodies, or not.
My personal opinion, is that Chaos should be able to have Warp/Vortex
Missiles, etc... based on the fluff. I also, (CHOKE, COUGH, SPUTTER)
think they should be able to have Thunderhawks, bassed on the fluff, and
other peoples comments. But they should be limited. My personal
opinion, is that titans should be limited also.
Special Cards should impose a limit of some sort. That's why they're
special. Four Cards does not impose a limit. You don't have to make
the HARD choices.
My list may not have been the best. I was in a hurry, and didn't do
complete research. I haven't played with or against Chaos for years.
I see an issue here, that I would like other peoples input on.
Maybe there's another way to do this?
What does everyone else think?
