Hi,
IMO a 1000 points for the Vanguard Company is not enough. If you compare
them with a Terminator company, you'll find that in terms of firepower and
average armoursaves they are almost equal (With a slight edge for the
Vanguards). The Vanguards are command units and will always fire in the
First Fire segement (this really hurts if you try to charge them!!!!), their
armour saves are 4+ fixed, and they've got jumppacks. On the other hand the
Terminatorcompany is twize the size of the Vanguards. IMHO the Vanguard
company should cost somewhat more than a Terminator company. How much I
don't know, but they are command units so at least 100 - 200 points more.
