if it is a skimmer, no it is not pined if it can move (has not moved yet this turn) it can move off in its next turn if it lives through the H to H. but i don t know of any greater demons that are skimmers
pinning stops lesser units from moving out of H to H at any time (but skimmers can not be pinned by anything and can move off at any time they can move) its best to attack them in H to H after them have moved so you can get a round of H to H in befor they can move off.

I guess that the skimmer hability allows the greater daemon to escape but
