scorpions and banshees

Striking scorpions and basnshees are only good in infantry CC, they do not have
shooting stats and are trained for close combat(that s why they are so expensive
for 4 stands). They both know how to find weak points of opponent armor and how
to pierce it, especialy scorpions.
I say to leave Striking scorpions rules as is (3d6 except against vehicules or
higher).

For banshees, don't forget that the armor saves is basically for shooting saves,
it does not only represent thoughness but also how good it can dodge shots (see
njal and ragnar card from space wolf). In CC , don't forget that armor saves
cannot be used ! !
 Do you think armor have special sonic protections ? If armor protect its wearer
from sonic beem, it means he might be deaf, so cannot hear order from their
captain ! ! !(unbeatable argument, isn't it ? ? ) .
At the opposit, i think space marine armor posses enhanced senses to perceive
the battle, a sonic scream is effective IMHO.

As a conclusion :

Striking scorpions : leave them alone
Banshees : sonic beam effective against infantry, no save except for fixed armor
saves, no medic-like calpability can be used in case of dying that way.

In term of gameplay, those rules are fast and are closed to original one. Forget
those d3, d1/2 or whatever !
