the biggest problem was the gunpowder, most of the time it didn't brun all off, leave it to the US to by the cheapiest stuff they can and send you out in the field with it while they sit home infront of the TV and watch. This lead to it jamming up in the feild shot to weak to kick the chamber all the way open. Crap metal to cut cost pitting up and restricting slide on and on we could go.

      then the gas tube was so pitted that you needed to replace it. they had to crome plate the

      tube piston and the bolt to stop this it was a very stupit thing to let slip by

      this did not show up in the tests becouse they tested in a dry place and used hi grade ammo

    IIRC the first version had some teething troubles, mainly a tendency to jam
