Hi Rune!

No need to be sorry. You simply have a different opinion, and GREAT
that you do! It makes for better ideas and discussion.

Sure.... the Bloodletters DO regen in the End Phase, but the shooting
happens during the Bloodletter's movement.

It works like this:

1) Chaos player starts to move the first Bloodletter of a detachment.

2) Marine player Snap fires at maximum range.

3) Bloodletter is killed, and gets placed on it's side, for possible
regeneration at the END of the turn.

4) Future moves by that detachment MUST maintain coherancy to the fallen
unit.

The Necron Assaults have a 40cm jump range, and they can not be Snap
fired at. They make it EVERY time!

As for the Scarabs...

I'll ask you the same question I asked Hellreich.

The Scarab "Fluff" says that Necrons are USUALLY accompanied by Scarabs.

When you take Necrons, do Scarabs usually accompany them?

To me, not usually taking them, would SPOIL the unique flavor of the
army. Kind of like saying, "I'm taking Terminators, without the
Landraiders."

You give up the flavor of the game, for a more effective way to make a
POWER army.

When you do that, you lose SO MUCH of the essence. So much of the fun!
Space Marine is not about simply making a POWER army and destoying your
opponents, as satisfying as that may be.

It's about playing a science fiction game, and letting yourself
experience that Universe, experience the fun.

When I take the Orcs, I try to think like the Orcs. When my units get
blown up, by misfires and such, I try to laugh at their misfortune.
"Those guud fur nuthin Gitz!" I throw Orks away, like yesterdays news.

When I play Eldar, I remember their elegance and grace. I'm a little
bit saddend to see each stand die... the end of a proud race.

When I play Imperials, I remember the Emperor. If I'm ready to make a
"make or break move", perhaps something desperate. I'll invoke the
Emperors name, and say "For the Emperor", just before I make that move.

I try to get in the "Spirit" of the game. For me, it's a lot of the
fun. No matter if I win or lose, I had a great time doing it. And in
the company of friends, who I admire and respect.

Games Workshop tried to make the armies unique by making the Company,
Support and Special cards. Some items are mandatory, to retain the
army's flavor.

An item that is USUALLY used, seems to be one of those, to me.
