I would liket o see this one.
It never made sense, why the IG maintianed rhinos (which would require
different spar eparts than their chimeras) just for the benefit of
trnasporting commissars.
Also, wouldnt a commissar prefer a chimera with a bit of firepower when
he
leads an assualt?

-->It's a hold over from the olden days. Back when the ONLY APC the Imps
had was the Rhino. The 40K Compilation has color schemes for several IG
units (as well as SMs) on Rhinos in one of the color plates. The
Chineras and their variants didn't come about until the Armies of the
Imperium supplement for SM1.
