It sounds good to me, my only worry is that not enought material could be
obtained. But as it is bi-monthly we have two months to gather material,
lets give it a go.

What race does everyone want to do this month and what is your opinion on
the subject?

Tom.

I just had an idea for the incomming mag.
Those of you who know me from other clubs etc will know I really like this
idea I just can't get it to work! Anyway;

How about each issue we have a "Focus on....." for a certain model. For
the first few you'd probably have to stick to the generic armies so's to get
as many entries as possible. The idea would be that you announce (well) in
advance what the issues focus is, and everyone has a go at working on that
piece in a conversion, diorama, or just plain painting one up nice. Not a
contest, but it just really interests me to see what other people do with
their minis when given the chance. We'd then be able to discuss the
techniques used etc. and learn from each other.

I know, I know, your probably thinking this is better suited to a painting
and modelling forum but the truth is, I'm a member of loads of them and
theres very few people who work in Micro scale on them. I'd like to get the
opinions and techniques from people who know what its like working at this
scale and are not just realling off the advice that works great on 28mm
stuff which doesn't actually cross over that well.

Just an idea, and probably not one to be considered really, but I though
it was worth putting it forward!

  Cheers,
