<< Based on your info, I would have to agree and say start with

Epic game - Angron and 20 Bloodthirsters being attacked by a ton of
space marines trying to take him out.>>

During the 1st Battle for Armageddon, it took an entire company (100) Grey
Knight terminators to take out Angron and his bodyguard of about 10
'Thirsters, and "less than a dozen" survived. So going by point values,
giving Grey Knights...+1 assault and Psyker abilities, they'd be around 30
pts each, so a company'd be 3000 pts. 'Thirsters are 29...so 10 would be 290
points. Hmm...that leaves 2710 for Angron. Being that you can't base
everything off of background material, he should still at least be equal to
an Imperator Titan. Still...imagine a 2700 point Angron....Move: 25 Range:
15cm (bestial roar thing he had 2nd Ed. SM) Firepower: 2 Assault: (here we
go...) 80-100? Armour: 6+ Special: Save (3+), Damage Capacity:50, uses
War Engine CC rules (25 units can fight him...), Rampage (would make him roll
two dice for everything in CC with him), War Engine-style Close Combat Weapon
(auto catastrophic damage), etc... Pretty mean guy. I see why GW toned down
the Primarchs in SM, and all but took them out in E40k. Just imagine the
Emperor...
