Activates Warp Jump -teleports onto
roof and into HTH with the nearest reaper.
*LOSES*
No damage, but the Displacer field blinks
him back a couple inches, so he's all by
his lonesome.
Big deal - he'll get to move again before
they get to shoot again.
nearby Eldar Psyker takes an interest,
"Guides" one of the Reapers...
ChapMaster takes a Krak missile to the
chest - field misses, termie armor fails,
and dies.
The Emperor is MOST displeased.
Granted, this is the kind of character
that tends to attract Vortex grenades,
but he wasn't THAT cheesed up...
On that note, here's another one.
The Chaos Lord that Displeased Khorne (or whatever you call those just who lead chaos armies, anyway, it was a general on a juggernought)
Chaos lord charges up behind a ruin
Carnifex charges into bunker
Spore mine lands on top of bunker, which is so tall the chaos marines
on the bottem flore do not set it off.
Carfix smashes bunker, which collapses, all models must make armour save
to survive.
Spore mine has no armour save, so it dies.
Spore mine explodes.
Spore mine catches chaos lord
Lord fails conversion field
Lord fails armour save
Spore Mine does 3 wounds, Lord dies.
No-one else dies. The marines in the rubble survived the blast, even the juggernaut survived. They wern't even scratched.
