I like the tactic. I think it works best with Eldar, who have vehicles
that can stay in cover until shooting. Any defense can be picked apart
and this is no exception, but it does a good job of making it difficult
as far as I can tell.

I would use Scouts with Support Platforms here. The reason I would use
'em is the infiltration move which could help set the picket faster and
the 30cm range which would soak of BMs before the enemy gets to
firefight range. As is, the guardians will only help the platforms
fire if there is something to shoot at in 15cm.

Of course, this only works against Firepower. SHWs would be able to
take out just the important parts of each detachment. As I said above,
though, this is still a good setup and a prickly defense.

One limited disadvantage to having the aspects in a separate detachment
in the middle is that extremely fast assault troops may be able to
engage FP/PP and SP without engaging BP. This would leave all of your
firepower broken. If the enemy had also brought up some Firepower
units in support, the subsequent firefight would then likely break the
aspects as well. However, it would probably require a much more
expensive set of detachments to pull that off.

Yeah, I'm thinking more on the order of 200 - 300 max, otherwise it had
better be a large game.

I would use the scouts in place of the guardians.

An ideal SP detachment.

Good choice - even though they don't need jump packs as part of the
defensive scheme, you may want to have 'em just to get them in place
quickly at the beginning.

All in all, I like it and will use it.
