I think my grandfather was there. I remember thinking that because my
grandfather met my grandmother in the war it was on the beachheads of D-day.
Of course, that's wrong, but at that time I didn't know about d-day. I may
be wrong though. Unfortunatly he passed away a couple of years ago, so I
can't ask.

Oh, and he was a Knight of Columbus, which I think is some sort of religious
military order. Again, I don't know any knights, or much about them, except
they were given really nice (In my opinion) swords and that I am eligable
because my Grandfather was a Knight.
