An alternating method doesn't have to be too complicated
(depends on whether you try to just patch it onto Epic
rules, or whether the game is designed for them). And
it can be quick. Although it will take longer to move
everything (comparing entire game turn with movement
phase of current system), all the decisions made for
a unit are made at one time. Currently you consider
each unit when you give it orders, when you move it,
and when you shoot it.

I don't know whether I'm interested in Net Epic, anyway,
but I won't be unless it does include some sort of
alternation. I have a system for "alternation" by drawing
chips from a cup--the chips get placed next to units to
show they have been activated. But I might just switch
to Dirtside. I'm not hopeful that Epic 40K will fix
this, but am still interested in hearing about it.
