I think the "new scale" hype is just to grab people's attention. If they are
changing from 8mm, it'd be the last straw, as then there is no way they'd
still be compatible with the old armies. I think they are just trying to
grab the 40K people's attention. "40K!!!!! in a New scale!!!!" type of hype,
even though epic has always been 40K in a different scale.
