Geez, no football. Guess I'll have to reply right away.. ;-)

Two pleasant images, can it get better after this?

> 19. Raven Guard

As long as we're on the topic, anyone know _anything_ about the Raven
Guard? I've patterned my chapter as a successor mainly because I've
heard zero about these guys, they stayed loyal, and I like their name.
Have they ever been in any fluff, scenarios, or rules?

And they deserve it. ;-) Hit 'em with the book... er, codex.

Yeah, damn 'droids. We don't want their kind in here.

> You may follow the Codex or you may be a "Drop Regiment".

So the wolves are the source of the drop ship style assault.
Interesting, gives me some more respect for 'em. Now, I'm a bit
confused though. Can these drop ships carry vehicles and larger?
Why the discount on FO cost?

> NO DEATH COMPANY. THE WINGED ONE IS STILL ALIVE

I second the vote here. If you're gonna say stuff like this, go out on
a limb and write up the primarchs. My guess is they'd be pretty simple,
ala the demon prince model. Ah, heck, as long as I'm talking a big
game...

Primarchs:

Base Stats (70 Points) for non-descript Primarchs:
15cm, 30cm Range, 1 FP, 6 Assault, 6+ Armour, Save, Rapid Fire,
Stubborn, Commander, Chaplain*
(*see posted special rules and note below)

Sanguinius: + Jump Packs + Assault (+4 Points)
Lion El'Johnson: + Assault + Negates enemy psyker bonus if involved or
supporting CC or firefight (+7 Points)
Rogal Dorn: + Chaplain (i.e. Chaplain x2) (+10 Points)
Leman Russ: + Assault + Rampage (+4 Points)
Roboute Guilliman: + 1 Strategy Rating (+5 Points)
Jaghatai Khan: + Assault + Infiltrate (+3 Points)

* Note: For Primarchs the Chaplain special ability is more powerful due
to their unique aura and inspiring effect on their troops. This only
applies to Space Marines of their own chapters. Any detachment with its
HQ within 30cm of their Primarch may remove +1 BM in the rally phase.
In the case of Rogal Dorn who has Chaplain x2 the bonus is +2 BM for
each detachment with its HQ in 30cm range.

Roboute Guilliman's strategy rating bonus may take the strategy rating
up to 6. If he is taken down, the strategy rating drops back to normal.

Okay, that's my take on the Primarchs.

> Blood Angel Tactical and Devastator units have +1 Assault

So they were the old 'Space Wolves', in effect. Assault oriented and
unusually good at it.

What happened to these guys?

Nice.

A Large legion.

Why the better FO's - just because they have more arty and fancy
equipment than the other legions?

A good post and inspiring.
